The Estate has Access Control personnel on the gates and mobile dog patrols. The primary role of the Gate Staff is to control access onto the Estate and monitor the Estate’s CCTV system. Our mobile dog patrols are there to provide visual reassurance to residents and to carry out foot patrols across the Estate. They attend incidents at the unmanned gates and conduct speed checks. In case of emergency, residents should always call Emergency Services on 999 before contacting our teams.
Our website is the best way to find out any information you may need. Information about road closures, party invitations etc is sent out to all residents who have signed up for webposts. In addition, the Estate Office publishes seasonal Newsletters which will give you updates on Estate matters. Please feel free to call the Estate Office for information.
There are monthly “Resident Forums” held at the Estate Office and residents are welcome to join if they have specific issues they would like to raise/ideas they would like to discuss with Richard Maundrell. In addition, shareholders are invited to attend the annual Residents’ Association’s AGM. If you would be interested in joining the Residents’ Association’s Board of Directors, please contact Richard for an informal chat.
The Estate team hosts a Summer party and a Christmas party every year to which all residents are invited. Invitations are issued via our website. In addition, we organise family events at Christmas and Easter and join in with the fun at Hallowe’en. The Estate Office is also proud to organise a collection for the annual Poppy Day appeal in support of the Royal British Legion.
Please contact our Finance Manager Paul Gorman on 01372 859 575 to discuss any queries regarding your Estate Charge. The Estate Charge is due on (1 April) every year and there are financial penalties for late payment. In extreme cases, Estate services may be withdrawn if payment is not received.
Please email our Operations Co-ordinator Stuart Beechinor at sb@sghra.com to update your ANPR and request/delete tags. It is very important that our system is up to date, so please let us know if you no longer own a car that was registered to your property.
Any building/renovation work should be approved in advance by the Residents’ Association. Please email our Planning Co-Ordinator Bradley Waters or give him a call on 01932 859 575.

Contrary to general perception, a driver cannot be over the legal alcohol limit and drive on the Estate roads. The roads may be private but they are officially designated as ‘private roads of which the public have access’ (that is not to be interpreted as the public are authorised to use the roads, but as there are no physical barriers stopping them a driver could enter the Estate authorised or not; therefore a driver and the vehicle must be legal and road worthy as if driving on the public roads.
