Dear Residents,

We would like to remind you how important it is to be vigilant at this time of year. Below are a few helpful reminders that may assist you:

  • Make regular checks of your boundary, looking for any obvious damage to fencing or planting where access could be gained.
  • Keep an eye out for any unknown or unusual items being left by windows or doors that could be left as a marker for gangs to identify properties not regularly occupied.
  • Keep outdoor furniture secure and away from the main building (they could be used as climbing frames to balconies).
  • Ensure any Lighting, CCTV and alarm systems are regularly serviced and turned on when applicable.
  • Provide the SGH Security Team Leader’s number 07557 946775 to any keyholders to alert him of any alarm activations so that immediate support and surveillance can be provided.
  • Report any suspicious activity immediately to the SGH Security Team Leader on 07557 946775 so that the patrol can investigate, and then call the police on 101 to report your concerns.
  • If you feel you or anyone else is in immediate danger, then call 999.
