Easter Event – Merchandise Feedback

Dear Residents,

Thank you to the many of you who attended the Easter event at the Brooklands triangle yesterday.

On a separate note, I have been made aware of some concerns over the potential use of the new estate map on bespoke merchandise which was on display at yesterday’s event – specifically, the use of the map as a tea towel, picnic blanket etc, even though the individual house names were not included on any of the merchandise. (The map on display, which included house names, was the office copy.)

Despite the items being restricted to estate residents and not available to the general public, given the concerns raised, the merchandise will now not be offered for sale and the initiative will be discontinued. The new map has a useful internal function for the estate team and is helpful in the access control gatehouses as a reference; but given the concerns raised, we will not use it on any merchandise and those orders by residents for items placed yesterday will be cancelled. We have also advised those residents who approached us today for merchandise that it is no longer available.

I trust this addresses the concerns that have been raised, and I apologise for any anxiety this initiative has caused some residents.

Regards,

Richard
