Residents may wish to be aware that there was a burglary at the northern end of the estate on Friday night at a property which was empty at the time. The owners consider this a private matter and it is only now that details are available.
Whilst respecting this requirement for privacy, in the interest of helping others, it is appropriate to share that entry was gained at approximately 10pm when the building was empty, and access was gained via an upper floor window. Other residents may wish to consider these two factors when reviewing their own security measures.
As ever the key is to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to the Police.
