Residents may wish to be aware that there was a burglary on the Western side of the estate on Friday night at a property which was unoccupied at the time. The owners consider this a private matter and it is only now that details are available.
Whilst respecting this requirement for privacy, in the interest of keeping other residents informed, it is appropriate to share that entry was gained at approximately 6.30pm when the building was empty, and access was through a sky light window on the roof. Other residents may wish to consider these two factors when reviewing their own security measures.
As ever the key is to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to the Police.
