Dear Resident
I am writing to please ask you to take seriously the advice set out by the Government.
We are seeing an increase in people walking around the estate for their exercise which is nice to see and hopefully allows people to see areas of the estate they never new existed. While doing this we ask that you follow the advice by keeping good separation and only walk alone or with family members of the same household. The estate is not immune from spreading the virus and i am sure you would not want to be the one to fall ill or pass to a member of your household.
When walking remember there will be vehicles on the road so please follow the Highway code and in particular cross over to an area where you can be seen when approaching sharp bends. Wearing bright clothes will also assist other road users to see you.
Please also ensure your children are informed of the risk when meeting up with friends as we have seen and dispersed a number of teenagers gathering around the estate. This is not safe and risks spreading the virus to many households. It also puts our security staff at risk and ultimately this could result in us not having enough security to cover the security positions if they fall ill.
We are working hard to ensure people entering the estate is kept to a minimum and in compliance with the Government advice, which at this time includes Building sites i’m afraid. We have also taken the decision to restrict access to one gardener per household to lessen the risk of spreading the virus within the estate. We know this is frustrating but gardening is not an essential service and still carries an additional risk to both residents and our gate staff.
Both the Tennis and Golf clubs have been working with us and we ask that you respect their requests to refrain from using their private grounds. You would not be very impressed if people started walking through your private garden.
This is a very difficult and stressful time for all so please help each other and your estate team by heeding the advice given, enjoy the weather and your gardens why you can and most of all keep safe.
