Dear Residents of St. Georges Hill,
As we transition to the new security contract starting at 0700 on May 1st, 2024, we want to inform you about an important security upgrade. We will now have a K9 unit (Security Dog) providing security on the estate 24/7. The dog and its handler will have their marked vehicle.
You may see the K9 unit around the estate, the dog handlers have requested that we remind residents that the dogs are highly trained working dogs, and that we should remember a number of basic rules if encountering the patrols.
- Please do not approach the handler when they are patrolling with the dog.
- Please pay particular attention if your dog is off the lead.
- You should immediately put your dog on the lead if you see the handler/dog whilst walking your own dog.
- Please do not approach the rear of the dog vehicle at any time.
