We have been informed by Southern Gas Networks that due to an increase in demand on the current gas infrastructure, a number of gas mains across the Estate need to be upsized.
The work will be carried out by KLT Utilities on behalf of Southern Gas Networks.
This is a major project and works are expected to continue across the Estate for approximately 60 weeks. We appreciate the potential impact of this and will of course work with KLT to keep you informed of their progress and keep disruption to a minimum for residents.
Work is due to start this Monday, 3rd March on Golf Club Road. There will be roadworks on one side of the carriageway allowing access at all times. As always, do please take extra care when driving past.
Once the first phase of the works is completed, KLT will continue on to Cavendish Road, West Road, Granville Road and Chestnut Avenue in due course.
KLT, on behalf of Southern Gas Networks will be writing to individual residents to inform them of the works and advise them if their property is affected, as they may need to gain access to individual properties in order to upgrade gas services.
