Dear Resident
Residents may be aware there was an accident on the estate yesterday which resulted in the emergency services attending. The Elmbridge Police Commander has asked for the following statement to be issued by way of reassurance:
“We were called to reports of a concern for safety accident at a residential premises on St George’s Hill, Weybridge at around 11.45am yesterday (January 18). A man in his 60s was air lifted to hospital where he is presently in a stable condition.
“His next of kin have been informed. Surrey Police are liaising with the Health & Safety Executive as an investigation to establish the circumstances of the incident remains ongoing. There continues to be a police presence in the area while we carry out enquiries. Surrey Police reference is 45230006476”
