Invitation to attend a private meeting with the Police Borough Commander:
Monday 24th March at 6pm
A reminder that as part of my routine monthly Residents’ Forums programme, we have organised a Police focussed event to provide an opportunity for residents to meet the new Police Borough Commander, Inspector Lucy Marriott, and hear her perspective on local Policing and crime prevention, take any questions from residents, and provide the context and reassurance on local crime.
This event is the third in a series. In 2022 we hosted ‘Meet the Beat’ with a police vehicle stand at the Brooklands triangle, and last year the local Police Sergeant joined a Residents’ Forum to answer questions. This event is the first to include the Police Borough Commander in person, and she will be accompanied by two of her team – the Neighbourhood Specialist Police Officer for Weybridge, and a member of the Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Past events have been well received and demonstrate the effective partnership we have with the Police. Our aim is to continue to enhance this relationship and improve residents’ understanding and awareness of the Police and local issues, in order that the risk of crime can be reduced.
The event will take place on Monday 24th March at 6pm. The venue will be decided once the numbers attending are confirmed. It will either be at one of the estate’s sports clubs, or in the Estate Office at the Brooklands entrance.

Administrators of the estate’s informal WhatsApp groups are welcome to highlight this invitation through their own channels to ensure the widest number of residents are aware of the opportunity.
