The Police have advised that, as there were two burglaries in Oxshott and Burwood Park recently, all should remain vigilant and report anything suspicious. This warning is particularly pertinent as two suspicious persons with backpacks were identified by CCTV in the area of estate boundary and the Seven Hills Road at 1am this morning.
May we also request that residents, their children and guests do not enter the grounds of other properties. There was recently an incident whereby a teenage son of an owner (and his friends) were identified on CCTV as trespassing into another owner’s grounds. The Police were called and responded in force with three units attending – only to find high-spirited teenagers who were resident on the estate. This was clearly a waste of the Police’s time and resources and should be avoided.
