Dear Residents,
A reminder that we will be holding Residents’ Informal / Networking Drinks on Monday 30th October from 6pm in the Tennis Club.
Whilst hosting the Residents’ Open Forums it became evident that many of the residents do not know each other, and I sensed there was an interest amongst some residents to meet other residents. We already have the two fixed social events in the calendar – the SGHRA Summer and Christmas drinks – and these self-funded networking events are not on that scale. Instead, it is an open invitation to gather in the Tennis Club to meet other residents, especially those who are new to the estate.
We ran the first of these events last October, and again in January, and I was pleased that a reasonably good number of residents attended. We will hold another of these networking events (as indicated above) and all are invited to attend, as we seek to help build a broader community of friendship amongst the residents of the Hill.
Please make a note of the date and come along if you can to meet some new faces.
