Dear Resident
Residents may wish to be aware that, following a period a relative peace and quiet, a group of four Urban Explorers entered the estate at 5pm yesterday afternoon. Four young people entered via the standard route (from the Seven Hills Road, crossing the Corbie Wood area [which is outside the estate boundary and now fenced], and into the Daljarrock plot). The CCTV at a neighbouring property identified the individuals and our security was dispatched and apprehended the individuals on East Road. They were then escorted off the estate via East Gate.
Whilst the security response was reassuring, the point of entry was an area of unfenced boundary. This is now being addressed by the property concerned and we have received an undertaking that the fencing will be installed this week. This should provide a robust defence against any future trespassers.

Residents may also wish to be aware that, as traditionally programmed for the winter months, the security patrol dog returns today. The security dog patrol will operate everyday between now and 4 February between the hours of 2pm and 2am. The security dog patrol will be focussed on the communal areas of the estate and will enhance the security measures which individual owners take at their own properties.
The dog handlers have requested that we remind residents that the dogs are highly trained working dogs, and that we should remember a few basic rules if encountering the patrols:
- Please do not approach the handler when they are patrolling with the dog.
- Please pay particular attention if your dog is off the lead.
- You should immediately put your dog on the lead if you see the handler/dog whilst walking your own dog.
- Please do not approach the rear of the dog vehicle at any time.
If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the estate office (01932 859575) during working hours or the Security Team Leader (07557 946775) out of hours.
