Dear Resident,
Many residents will be aware of the planning application to Surrey County Council to expand the Silvermere Pet Crematorium (on Byfleet Road) to an industrial scale facility. The plan is to create a regional hub for the incineration of dead pets, horse carcasses and veterinary waste.
Residents were given the opportunity to comment on the application (as highlighted by the SGHRA web post in February). This opportunity has now closed.
The application is due to be considered by the Surrey CC Planning and Regulatory Committee meeting on Wednesday 27 September at 10.30 am at the Council Chamber, Woodhatch Place, 11 Cockshot Hill, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 8EF.
