You may be aware that the Tennis Club issued a webpost yesterday regarding plans for their outdoor gym.
I have this morning spoken to the Chief Executive of the Club and reiterated that their stated aspiration that the existing temporary marquees might be allowed to remain in place beyond the final permissioned date of 31 March 2026 by “changing their colour to woodland green and/or lowering their height” would not be acceptable to the Residents’ Association.
This clarification has been accepted by the Tennis Club, and I trust is reassuring to residents.
Both the Club and the Residents’ Association are clear that any future gym should be a permanent structure which appropriately reflects its setting, and the prestigious profiles of the Club and the Estate.
